5/19/2023 0 Comments Rothfuss the doors of stone![]() I care little that Rothfuss doesn't have book 3 ready for us, because I have about 400 other books to read, but I care that he keeps playing this game on the internet. ![]() Scott Lynch gives us extremely sporatic updates, but not too long ago he had a twitter thread that said he has put work in and some new medication is helping him with his anxiety and whatnot. It's this stuff that annoys me.Īnd other authors don't do this either. ![]() Shame about lack of completeness, but still things to enjoy. If he doesn't have Book 3 in him, I wish he'd just say it because I am atleast one of the few people that wouldn't be crushed by it - I think BAD endings ruin stories, not lack of endings, so if we don't get anything, all that means we have 2 really good books and one extremely unique novella and one strangely fascinating novella out of him. The Doors of Stone is part of the trilogy The Kingkiller Chronicle, which has been one of the most anticipated books since it was first announced. And yeah, the fact that he never gave away that chapter he promised looks sketchy. The Doors of Stone, Book 3 by Patrick Rothfuss, is one of the most anticipated books of the year. I'm in a 'never say never' sort of way with him, but I am starting to get annoyed at the way he handles his internet presence since it's just.weird to keep playing up Book 3 when he refuses to say anything meaningful on it. ![]() That said, his QnA's usually aren't great because he doesn't want to give away anything substantial, so it's like "will Bast have lines in book 3" "Yes he will". The thing I find weird is that he's been more open to talking about Book 3 on twitter more than he's been in the past. ![]()
